Yuk-Yuk and Natalia
Thirteen students spent half of their spring break in Hartford, CT, with Habitat for Humanity. As the cold mornings of frozen mud gave way to warm afternoons of muddy mud, we labored away laying tiles in kitchens and bathrooms. We learned a lot about glue. For example, the kind of glue that holds tile to a floor does not easily come out of hair or clothing. We learned a lot about each other. For example, Hannah just barely fits into the little grocery store carts shaped like trucks. She also likes to be pushed very quickly through the grocery store lanes. Most importantly, we had a great time on our trip. Take a look at the pictures on the EmmaNow picture page.
