Emma Willard’s summer program for girls appropriately named “GirlSummer” is up and running again. From 8:30 to 3PM the girls (ages 6-13) participate in a wealth of activities including sports (such as tennis and basketball) , arts classes (such as weaving, beading (seen above), and writing), performance classes (such as ballet, jazz and a new class called “Broadway Bound”), and cooking classes. The girls participate in 5 activities/classes per day. The camps are offered in two-week sessions…this one began this past Monday (the 6th of July) and will run until next Friday.
