Girlsummer Beading Class

Emma Willard’s summer program for girls appropriately named “GirlSummer”  is up and running again.  From 8:30 to 3PM the girls (ages 6-13)  participate in a wealth of activities including sports (such as tennis and basketball) , arts classes (such as weaving, beading (seen above), and writing), performance classes (such as ballet, jazz and a new class called “Broadway Bound”), and cooking classes.  The girls participate in 5 activities/classes per day.    The camps are offered in two-week sessions…this one began this past Monday (the 6th of July) and will run until next Friday.  To find out more about GirlSummer click  here .
