Linda Smith, the owner of Divinitea with students
During dinner last night, students curiously gathered around Linda Smith, the founder of Divinitea, the first organic tea company in the United States, as she enthusiastically introduced to eager tea lovers her favorite tea blends from her 25 years of experience with tea blending. Her focus on being socially and environmentally responsible helps promote her message of “Creating peace one cup at a time.” There were all varieties of teas from all over the world including: Chocolate tea, Green Chai tea, African Elixir tea, Japanese Sencha tea, and many more. The new flavors of Divinitea served every week in the dining hall definitely come in handy when students are in need of some caffeine and heat.
