On Friday, November 13, the first calligraphy class was held in the upstairs of Slocum by Angel ‘11 and Peggie ‘12. Students and faculty learned some basics and also got their Chinese name in the first class. It was really great to see many Emma girls and teachers show interested in learning calligraphy and Chinese culture. We are looking forward for everyone in the group to be skilled in doing Chinese traditional writing. Keep on going, calligrphy group!
