A lookback on Revels 2010
As students, alumnae, and faculty know, Revels is the one tradition here that truly captures the zeal of the Emma Willard student and makes them feel like Emma is a place to be considered home. This year’s Revels did not have nearly as much snow outside as the previous year to get the tunnels open, but it was nonetheless exciting as can be. The gathering for the underclassmen in Lyon-Remington before the grand staircase entrance to Kiggins was full of excitement and loud chants. The traditional Revels play was magnificent and had clever new characters, including an Irish tinker, a peacock, and Ghengis Khan. The senior class of 2010 clearly gave their all into making Revels an exceptional gift to the community. Although Revels took place a while ago, the excitement and fond memories still linger after the winter break. The night truly beheld some magic and was one to remember for all!
