Biology and Environmental Studies Field Trip at Wild Center

Students were listening to the tour guide who introduced the environmental-friendly system of the Wild Center.
This past Tuesday, both Biology and Environmental Studies students went to the Wild Center in Tupper Lake for a field trip. It was a three-hour ride one way and the group left early in the morning and returned around 6pm. At the Wild Center, students explored the museum of wild animals, and watched a short movie about the history of Adirondacks Park of New York State. In the afternoon, they walked down the trails outside the main building of the Wild Center to the river and enjoyed the fall colors along the way. Some students also observed a live rattlesnake at noon. The field trip ran smoothly and students had a lot of fun while gaining new insights of the subjects that they are studying for.
