Ready for Revels!

Revels at Emma Willard is a big deal and takes a lot of preparation. During today’s assembly, while the seniors were busy practicing, getting fitted for costumes, and learning dances, the underclassmen learned the songs that everyone will sing at the Revels performance Friday evening. In Rehearsal – Good Night, Desdemona (Good Morning, Juliet)

Emma Willard’s school play, Good Night, Desdemona (Good Morning, Juliet), will be performed November 13 and 14, but right now the cast is still rehearsing. Scarves!

The weaving class has finished their first project, which was making 6 foot long scarves. The scarves were woven using the plain weave stitch. Ask the students about their next project!

Senior Violin Recital

 
On Sunday May 24, Helen Rowe played the violin in her senior recital in Kiggins.  Helen’s peers, friends, family, and teachers came to support her and listen to her beautiful talent. She played numerous solo pieces, accompanied pieces, and a duet with science instructor Mr. Buckley.  Great job, Helen!
